What’s in a Name
Immersion is more than a name it describes the ministry on two levels. First we are “immersed in Christ.” As Christians we are baptized or immersed in the name of Jesus Christ. This act is representational of our death and resurrection in Christ. At Immersion we strive to live a life which is immersed in Christ. Secondly we are “immersed in community.” As Christians it is our mission to join in the redemptive work of Christ in our community. At Immersion we strive to immerse ourselves in our community by serving those in our community.
