2014 AND 2015 Scholarship Winner 

 

The Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that a $1,000 scholarship has been awarded to

Stetson Kinnison

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stetson graduated from Barlow High School in 2014.  He was a member of the National Honors Society and participated in Football and Wrestling. He has also been active in Powerlifting for five years where he holds several American Records. Stetson attended Portland State University Honors Program in 2014/15 with the goal of obtaining a PhD in a field he has yet to select. His athletic goal is to participate in the United States Powerlifting Association World’s competition and get all four international records. 

 

Following his year at PSU, Stetson has decided to transfer to the University of Oregon.  Go DUCKS!  

 

Stetson has attended FBC the last four years along with his parents, Pastor Shane and Stephanie. His senior year of high school found him actively involved in the youth group and he also attended World View through our FBC Program. Both of those experiences combined with his upbringing, have given him important tools in applying his faith to everyday life.
