As the pastor of Gresham First Baptist Church, I want to welcome you to our website. There is a fair amount of information here, so let me boil it down for you.

To state our purpose as succinctly as possible, I would use two words:  Jesus Christ. We are here because of Him.

​

If you decide to visit us, and we hope you will, we would truly enjoy meeting and getting to know you. And if you spend any time with us, you will quickly discover that we are far from perfect. In many ways we are like everyone else, dealing with all the stuff life throws our way.

 

Our church is not a place for perfect people,

but for imperfect people to find faith, hope and healing.

The Bible says Jesus Christ came to earth full of grace and truth. Many of us have experienced His amazing grace and truth which includes His love, forgiveness and gift of life So it is a true privilege to share with others Jesus and all He offers.

My prayer for you is that you too will experience Jesus Christ and His life changing grace and truth.
